As we are now entering the ‘transition period’ following the UK’s decision to leave Europe, what effect will this have on travelling abroad and displaying the GB Euro flag on Number plates?
The current position from the DVLA hasn’t changed since our last update and if you are planning to travel through Europe you should display a GB sticker on your vehicle as the number plate Euro flag will not be sufficient.
Does this mean that you need to change your plates if you currently have a GB Euro flag?
Well no, the plates will still be ok to stay on your vehicle under current legislation.
However, if you do want to change the Euro flag for a UK identifier then our various alternatives can be found below or on our website under ‘number plate guides’
